Charlotte Felicitas

Duchess of Modena (1695-1710)
Charlotte Felicitas was the eldest daughter of Johann Friedrich (1625-1679), duke of Brunswick - Lüneburg - Calenberg (Hanover), and Benedicte Henriette (1652-1730), youngest daughter of prince Edward of the Palatinate (1625-1663). In 1695 she married Rinaldo III (1655-1737), duke of Modena. In 1699 her sister, Wilhelmine Amalie (1673-1742), married the Roman king Joseph (1678-1711), who succeeded his father Leopold I. (1640-1705) to become emperor Joseph I. in 1705.
